In spring 2016 a fish shop opened in Teurastamo's red brick — the kind you'd only seen in southern European market halls: long service counters, the day's catch laid on ice, and staff who know where every fish came from.
Founder Karl ”Kala-Kalle” Huttunen is a career fishmonger who honed his craft for a decade behind service counters before opening his own hall. The same craftsman's touch shows today at the counter, in the smokehouse and at the lunch table.
